Mr. Roger Steinepreis is a seasoned corporate and resources lawyer with more than 25 years of legal, strategic, and governance experience. A graduate of the University of Western Australia—holding both a Bachelor of Jurisprudence (1984) and a Bachelor of Laws (1985)—Roger has built a distinguished career advising companies across equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and the broader energy and resources sector.
A founding leader of Steinepreis Paganin, he served as Managing Partner from 1997 to 2014, overseeing the firm’s growth into a respected specialist corporate practice. Since 2015, Roger has taken on the role of Executive Chairman, continuing to guide strategic direction, high-level client engagements, and the firm’s corporate governance framework.
Across his career, Roger has acted as legal adviser on 40+ initial public offerings, representing companies through complex equity raises, ASX listings, and capital market transactions. He has also advised on numerous strategic acquisitions, including takeovers, schemes of arrangement, trade sales, and corporate reconstructions, supporting both listed and unlisted companies in navigating high-stakes commercial decisions.
